How to view your Goldee events in other calendar apps

Did you know you can add your Goldee schedule into any other calendar you like, giving you the big picture of what’s on at home, school, work?

Here's how:

Copy your calendar feed

Your calendar feed is a way to stream events out of your Goldee calendar. Find yours in your profile settings under ‘calendar’. Tip: make sure you have your calendar feed enabled.

Add to your calendar of choice

How you add your Goldee schedule depends on the calendar you use. We’ve included some of the most popular ones here. But if you can’t see yours a quick Google search should solve it.

Add a calendar in Outlook

Add a calendar in Google (scroll to the ‘Use a link to add a public calendar’ section).

Add a calendar on Mac (hint: make sure you select ‘iCloud’ under ‘location’ so that your Goldee schedule flows through to your iPhone and any other linked devices).

Add a calendar on iPhone

Tip:

Add your calendar via the web browser version of your calendar (as some desktop versions  won’t let you subscribe to feeds).

How long until events start showing up?

How fast your feed refreshes depends on your provider – some take minutes, others can take up to 24 hours.
(Your events will always appear in the Goldee app as soon as you add them, so open up Goldee if ever in doubt!)

Tip: Using iCal? You can force updates every 5 minutes by right clicking on the side bar, clicking ‘and then ‘auto-refresh’).

Toggle it on or off

Once your Goldee calendar feed is set up in your calendar of choice, you can switch the view on or off to suit the way you like to see your schedule.

That’s it!

You can also share your feed with people you trust. Just remember, whoever you share it with will be able to see all of your events.
